Misty C. Cedano, a career civil servant, currently works in the Office of the Secretary of Defense Senior Executive Management Office as the Lead Human Resources Specialist focused on Intergovernmental Personnel Act agreements, Federal Advisory Act Commission assignments, Fourth Estate Executive Allocation Management, Senior Executive Talent and Succession Management, and Executive Development.  She has more than 20 years of experience focusing on organizational processes, efficiencies, and Human Resource services.  Ms. Cedano is an Army veteran who began her civilian career with the Department of Navy Military Sealift Command.  She has served in a variety of roles including: DoD Civilian Honorary Awards Program Manager, Director, Personnel and Security, United States Mission, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (USNATO), Brussels, Belgium, Ministry of Defense Gender Advisor to the Afghan Ministry of Defense in Kabul, Afghanistan, Human Capital Management Officer, USNATO, Director, Talent and Succession Management, OSD, Deputy Director for Administration, Branch Head Civilian Mariner Recruitment and Placement, and Lean Six Sigma Business Strategy Analyst, Headquarters, USMC.

Ms. Cedano is graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of the Rockies earning a Master of Arts degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology.
